Several players for both teams crashed to the front of the goal, and Salinas got the stop it needed to send the game to the extra session. With the ball on the right side about 10 meters away, the Padres lofted the ball inside. With 21 seconds to go, the Cowboys' Coleman Stewart delivered the team's 11th goal, bringing cheers from the Salinas faithful.īut Carmel had time to score. Salinas kept on attacking, but now sat in the spot of trying to equal Carmel instead of keep the visitors at bay.
